It Is Time to CNGreen Solar

By going solar, you'll be saving time, saving money, and most importantly - saving our planet.

How Solar Works?

Solar energy systems convert sunlight directly into electricity using solar panels (Photovoltaic, PV). When sunlight hits the panels, the semiconductor materials inside generate direct current (DC) electricity. This DC electricity is then sent to an inverter, which converts it into alternating current (AC) – the type of electricity used in our homes and businesses. The generated AC power can directly supply your building's needs. If your system produces more electricity than you immediately use, the surplus power can be stored in energy storage batteries or fed back into the main electricity grid, often resulting in credits on your utility bill.

Paperwork & Agreement

Installing a solar energy system involves a series of legal documents and agreements. This typically includes a service agreement with your solar installer, detailing the scope of work, costs, warranty terms, and timelines. You'll also likely need to sign an interconnection agreement with your local utility company, which allows your solar system to connect to the grid and enables the buying or selling of electricity. Other potential documents include loan agreements (if you choose financing) and applications for government subsidies or incentives. Please note that these documents and the required procedures can vary significantly based on local laws, regulations, and policies. We'll guide you through this complex paperwork to ensure a smooth process.

Site Eligibility

Whether your property is suitable for a solar system depends on several key factors. First, there needs to be sufficient sunlight exposure; your roof or installation area shouldn't be shaded for extended periods by tall trees or surrounding buildings. Second, we assess your roof's structural integrity and load-bearing capacity to ensure it can safely support the weight of the solar panels. The angle and orientation of your roof also impact efficiency, with south-facing roofs (in the Northern Hemisphere) generally being ideal. It's important to be aware that different regions may have varying building codes and restrictions regarding site eligibility, such as height limits or sun rights, which could affect installation. We'll conduct a site assessment to thoroughly analyze your property's conditions and provide professional recommendations to ensure it qualifies for installation.

Installation & Permissions

The installation process for a solar energy system involves multiple stages. Before any physical installation begins, we need to secure all necessary building permits for your project. This typically involves submitting detailed design plans and engineering blueprints to local government or relevant authorities to ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety standards. Once permits are approved, our professional installation team will begin installing the solar panels, inverters, cabling, and other related equipment. The entire installation process strictly adheres to safety regulations and aims to minimize disruption to your daily routine.

Utility Connection

After your solar energy system is fully installed, the final step is connecting to the local utility company's electrical grid. This usually requires the utility company to perform a final inspection and certification to ensure your system meets all technical and safety requirements and can safely and efficiently integrate with the existing grid. Once certified, the utility company will install or activate a net meter (or bi-directional meter), which tracks both the electricity generated by your solar system and the electricity consumed from the grid. From then on, you can start enjoying the electricity bill savings and potential credits from your solar system.
